Find Me On

Apparently, I have writers block. It’s been going on for a while now and it sucks. Big time. I know I have many things I could write about, but the words will not come. Which means I’m stuck on the book I’m writing too, not just my blog. Ugh. I’ve read many many tips and ideas on how to get over this block, including my favorite, “talk to a monkey” like this person suggested. Ummm…I wonder if a fish would work? I think my daughter still has Nemo. Must try.

I wish I had some tootsie rolls.

Have you ever had writer’s block? What did you do to overcome it?

I get writer’s block all the time. Sometimes, I just take a walk to clear my mind, or talk to my daughter about how her day went. That’s when the ideas start to flood in.

This is the longest I’ve ever had a block. I’ve never had one that lasted longer than a week before :/ I’m willing to bet it’s stress related.

I feel your pain. I’ve been struggling with what to write about lately, and with not sounding like everyone else!

I get writers block alot and other times I am overflowing with ideas. I found when I am overflowing with ideas that I jot them down on a word document. So if I can’t think of a topic to write about then I can revert to my list of topics which would hopefully trigger something for me to write about.

I don’t know if I have writer’s block, but there are times I just don’t feel like writing anything for my blog. I guess I get lazy at times.

    Stopping by from VoiceBoks!

  • I can’t say that I have had a writers blog but sometimes to get inspiration I look at some writing prompts or the pictures that I have recently taken.

  • I wish I had better advice. When I have writer’s block I tend to just stop writing for a while until the urge returns. From what I hear, that’s the exact opposite of what you are supposed to do! Good luck.
